Born in Northeast Florida, Scott stepped into the world of educational leadership through Taekwon-do. Just after his 14th birthday, his instructor placed him in command of classes for students, and thus began his career.

Scott went on to graduate with a degree in elementary education and began teaching in Charlotte, NC. During his 12 years there in the country’s 16th largest school district, he served a number of roles at the school, district, and state level. He then landed a national role with CTAC in 2012, where he built a robust portfolio of diverse projects across 30 states over 13+ years.

Faced with the challenge of federal funding cuts in 2025, Scott is now seeking his next career move and is excited for what the future holds!
